Sales and Marketing Rep, KZN
We are looking to employ an experienced sales representative with no less than 3 years retail experience or servicing the hospitality industry. A go getter who is looking to start a portfolio or will add our products to an existing product portfolio. The ideal candidate will assist us in growing our distribution network of restaurant, hotels, catering organisations, retail food chains and all food suppliers in KZN A brand ambassador with a friendly demeanour and positive attitude with a deep passion for sales, who will work proactively and creatively to increase sales, assist with marketing activities and ensure that the business remains well-informed of industry trends.
The area of operation is KZN. We offer in the range of a R6,000 basic salary, plus commission and travel expenses. Package is negotiable depending on experience.

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Promote and sell products to existing and new customers
Shelf-space negotiations, Merchandising standards, Placing orders, Product training.
Analyze market's potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Promotions for products at retail stores and markets
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedules
Own reliable transport is essential with a valid driver's license
Proven work experience, minimum 2 to 3 years relevant sales/industry experience
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Relationship management skills, takes feedback well
Well presented, clean, professional image
A dynamic personality, passionate about food and particularly good wholesome brands. A closet or inspiring chef / amateur photographer will also be a plus.
Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, content ideation, and implementation schedules
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Manages communications and engages with community
Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
Researches and monitors activity of competitor brands and companies
Collaborating with other likeminded brands, with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers).
Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
Assist with general administration

The job is based in the KZN midlands in and around Howick with some travel. The role will be about 4 full days a week but times can be flexible.
We offer in the range of a R4,000 – R6,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
The position is available in January.

Minimum Requirements & Compentencies
Diploma or degree in Marketing
Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking ability
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must have current, unendorsed driver’s license and own vehicle.
