Pairing fruit with cheese can be quite difficult as not all cheeses goes well with all fruits, there is a blend of tastes that goes well together and then there are those pairings that tastes terrible! But it can also turn out to be the most delicious snack you’ve ever tasted whenever you pair the perfect cheese with the perfect fruit!
We have combined a list of fruits and cheeses that go together very well, it might sound like strange combinations to you, but trust us, it is surprisingly delicious!
1. Watermelon and Feta Cheese
We know what you’re thinking, “how on earth is that tasty?” But this is the perfect summer snack! The freshness of the watermelon goes perfectly with the saltiness of the feta cheese. You can serve it as a kebab or as a salad, just be sure to drizzle some balsamic vinegar on top to bring all the flavours together.
2. Figs and Brie
This one’s a bit of a classic. Figs and Brie cheese make for a super decadent grilled cheese, croissant, tart, or salad. For this one you can either use fresh figs or preserved figs! Both are delicious! When using preserved figs, drizzle the fig sauce over the brie to give it a deliciously sweet taste!
3.Cheddar and Apples
This pairing is not short on flavor! The sharp taste of an aged cheddar cheese meets its match with sweet, tart, and somewhat bubbly Pink Lady apples. Simply put a slice of cheddar on top of a slice of crisp Pink Lady apples, and you’ll be in for a delicious treat. Or, for a fancy dessert, try making an apple and cheddar pie:
50 grams potato starch (about 1/3 cup)
40 grams all-purpose flour (about 1/3 cup)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

60 grams matured Gourmet Greek cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1/2 cup) and divided
1 tablespoon chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup certified gluten-free quick-cooking oats
4 ounces gluten-free arrowroot cookies
4 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
